Welcome to Asana Abode!

We are a small independent business based on the South Wales coast. Being raised on the coast surrounded by beautiful beaches and countryside, with a relaxed, laid back vibe, had a significant impact on my style and interior design. I have a real love for boho interior design, balancing together a mixture of patterns, textures, colours with natural materials including woods and metals to create a home that is full of life and culture as well as being a relaxing place to be. Along with my love for interior design, I also have a keen interest in travel, which has also shaped my style, with influences of the Mediterranean, Asia, and Africa.

 

I have always had a love for interior design but when I became a homeowner for the first time, my passion really took off as I looked to source items to accompany pieces that I had collected over the years. That is where the idea Asana Abode was created. “Asana” is the meaning for a body posture, a general term for a sitting meditation pose, and “Abode” meaning the home. Therefore, the idea to create an asana abode was born, a home that is relaxed and tranquil, and meditation ready (if that’s your thing!). I wanted to create a space where I could share styles and items with you to place in your home, so that you can also create your own asana abode.

I use the knowledge that I had gained over the years, along with my passion for interior design, to bring customers beautiful, quality boho interior items. I only place items in the store that I would be proud to place in my own home and so I hope that you will also love them in yours!
